Registration details
Please, note that participants will be selected based on their scientific impact on the conference. It is therefore expected that all participants submit an abstract or, if no poster or short talk is to be presented, please shortly state the reason at the Abstract section in the registration form. Further information is available on the registration page. Successful registration will be confirmed within 24h. Selected Talks
Several participants will be selected for short talks from abstracts submitted within the registration deadline.
Applicants will be chosen based on:
- Abstracts: novelty and relevance for the field
- Balance between different topics within the field
- Gender balance
- Geographical distribution
- Balance between early-stage researchers and seniors
Flash talks will be selected based on scientific merit, and the criteria listed above.
Selection will be made by the organizing committee.
Posters
All accepted participants are invited to present a poster, if not selected for a talk. Dimensions of the poster boards are 1.0 m (width) by 1.5 m (height). We are glad to announce that there will be several poster prizes awarded to the best poster presentations.
Payment
The registration fee is 150 EUR for members of public institutions, and 300 EUR for participants from industry. This includes:
- Full conference attendance
- Coffee/Tea, snacks and lunch every day
- Welcome reception with drinks/snacks
Accommodation is NOT included.
Upon acceptance to the meeting, an invoice with payment details will be sent.

VAT number of the institution will be required for an invoice upon selection of participants is completed (only applies to European Union institutions and companies; https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vat-invoicing-rules_en)
Child care
The organizers will give a high priority to providing child care during the meeting sessions contingent to their possibilities.
Registration fee waiver program
A limited number of registration fee waivers will be provided for participants belonging to underrepresented groups. These include people with disabilities or specific conditions, with low socio-economic background, and those belonging to ethnic and linguistic minorities (according to EU guidelines).

Anti-COVID measures
Please note that we will need to follow all the anti-COVID restrictions valid in Spain, or those specific ones that apply to the CNB-CSIC, at the time of the meeting. This might include checking valid vaccination certificates of all participants or a proof of exemption from vaccination (recently underwent COVID/other health exemption, possibly accompanied by a negative antigen or PCR test). Social distancing and wearing approved masks may also be mandatory in shared indoor premises, depending on the spanish governmental rules valid at the time of the meeting.
